Clear ice observed on Vardenyats pass
Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies told Panorama.am that as of 09:30 November 27 all interstate and republican roads in the territory of Armenia are passable, no precipitation is predicted.
According to the source, clear ice is observed on certain sections of Vardenyats pass, where the road crews carry out cleaning works with chemical salt and sand.
Meanwhile, Armenia’s ministry of emergency situations (MES) recalls the report by the Roads Department at Georgia’s ministry of infrastructure, saying Stepantsminda-Lars is open for all types of vehicles.
