Government to allocate 1,5 billion AMD for housing of military families
The 2017 state budget will see a redistribution to settle the housing issue of the families of fallen soldiers and soldiers with disabilities.
According to the draft decision approved at today’s Cabinet session, a total of 1,5 billion AMD will be allocated to improve the housing conditions of the families of the deceased soldiers and former soldiers with the first, second and third degree disabilities as a result if the budgetary redistribution.
Namely, 76 apartments worth 974,724,000 AMD will be acquired in Yerevan, while some 147 families will be granted certificates worth 525,276,000 AMD for purchasing apartments in provinces, Deputy Defence Minister Artak Zakaryan detailed.
Some 223 families are set to receive financial assistance and houses in 2017.
