Initial lot of Armenian cosmetics sent to South Korea, Hong Kong
With the support of the Development Foundation of Armenia (DFA), the Armenian cosmetics company this year for the first time participated in the international exhibition.
Nairian company successfully presented Armenian products and signed export contracts at Cosmoprof North America 2017 exhibition held in Las Vegas on July 9-11, the DFA’s press service reported.
The first initial lot worth of about US$10,000 packed today is going to be sent to South Korea and Hong Kong. After selecting samples and specifying procedures, the exports will be regular and significantly larger.
“The company was well-represented in the July exhibition in the United States, found the right partners, and as a result the geographic export to Asia is expanding,” noted the DFA Aftercare team coordinator Anahit Mkrtchyan.
“Entering the new market is a result of long and scrupulous work and, in this case it is a pride, as South Korea is the homeland of many cosmetics brands, and the Korean women are strict. We are glad that our Korean counterpart starts to cooperate with great confidence,” co-founder and scientific director of Nairian company Anahit Markosyan said.
The company established in 2012 uses the resources of Armenia’s nature with the used plants cultivated in an organic way, in their own field farm.
Nairian cosmetics are already exported to the US, Japan and Russia.
