Yerevan court satisfied the compensation complaint for Ramazzotti canceled concert
The Arabkir and Qanaqer-Zeytun Court of Yerevan satisfied a complaint lodged by dozens of citizens demanding compensation for the bought tickets of Eros Ramazzotti concert that never took place.
The concert by famous Italian singer was to be held in Yerevan on April 26, 2016. Later the concert was cancelled, while the losses of those who had bought the tickets were not compensated. The lawsuit was brought against Forpostart Production that acted as the organizer of the concert and failed to fully compensate all the buyers despite assurances and several extended deadlines.
As the representative of the plaintiffs Gayane Demirchyan told Panorama.am the petition was signed by 66 people and was lodged on June 24 last year.
The applicants wanted the court to oblige Forpostart Production to pay the compensation and the percentages. In its ruling, the court obliged the company to compensate 2.363.000 mln. AMD.
