Armenian, Azeri foreign ministers agree to meet in early 2018
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who is on a working visit to Vienna, on Wednesday met with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Elmar Mammadyarov.
The meeting started with the presence of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, followed by private talks, the Foreign Ministry’s press service said.
The agenda of the meeting focused on avenues for the implementation of the agreements reached between the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders at the Vienna, St Petersburg and Geneva summits.
At the suggestion of the co-chairs, an agreement was reached on arranging a new ministerial meeting in early 2018.
The sides also discussed the dates of the co-chairs’ next regional visit.
