Snow, clear ice reported on certain highways in Armenia
Armenian Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies reports that as of 17:30 December 7, there is snow on Jermuk, Sisian and Goris roads as well as on Saravan and Vardenyats pass. Black ice is observed on certain sections of Artik-Alagyaz road, Jajur section of Gyumi-Spitak highway and Qeti pass.
The ministry strongly recommends the heavy trucks to avoid driving on the mentioned roads due to the abundant snowfalls. All interstate and republican highways of Armenia are passable, the ministry details.
