Armenian parliamentary delegation to depart for Artsakh
A delegation of the Armenian parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Relations led by Chairman Armen Ashotyan will depart for the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Republic to take part in the joint session with the Standing Committees on Foreign Relations of the Artsakh parliament on December 8-10.
The Armenian delegation features committee members Karen Bekaryan, Shirak Torosyan, Arayik Aghababyan and Artak Zeynalyan, the press department of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations said.
Speaker of the Karabakh National Assembly, Ashot Ghulyan, Armen Ashotyan and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the Karabakh parliament, Arzik Mkhitaryan are expected to deliver opening remarks at the joint session.
During the joint meeting, the two partner committees will touch upon the Nagorno-Karabakh issue on the foreign policy agenda of Armenia and Artsakh, as well as the Armenia-Artsakh cooperation prospects in the scopes of parliamentary diplomacy and recent developments of Armenia’s foreign policy.
A joint news conference is scheduled at the end of the visit.
