Roads partly icy in Armenia
Some roadways are partly icy in the territory of Armenia as of 9:00am December 13, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
According to the source, no precipitation is expected on December 13-17.
Sotk-Karvachar highway is hardly passable, while black ice has taken hold on some sections of Vardenyats pass, the roads in Tashir (Lori province) and Hrazdan (Kotayk province) towns, as well as the turns of Stepanavan-Vanadzor road.
The drivers are strictly recommended to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
