Black ice grips some roads in Armenia
Some roadways are partly icy in the territory of Armenia as of 10:00am December 14, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
According to the source, no precipitation is expected in the country on December 14-18.
Black ice has taken hold on some sections of Sotk-Karvachar highway, Vardenyats pass, the roads of Tashir (Lori province) and Hrazdan (Kotayk province) towns, as well as the turns of Stepanavan-Vanadzor road.
The drivers are strictly recommended to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
