Drivers advised to use winter tires as black ice grips some roads in Armenia
Some roadways are partly icy in the territory of Armenia as of 4:00pm December 15, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
According to the source, black ice has taken hold on some sections of Sotk-Karvachar highway, Vardenyats pass, as well as the roads of Hrazdan town (Kotayk province).
The drivers are strictly recommended to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department reports that Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
