Dense fog hits some roads in Armenia
Black ice gripped some sections of Artik-Alagyaz highway as of 9:30am December 21, Armenia’s Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies told Panorama.am.
According to the source, thick fog is reported on roads of Artashavan, Ashtarak, Baghramyan, Masis, Artashat and Ararat with a visibility of 10-20m and the Armavir, Maralik and Akhuryan roads with 30-40 metres of visible distance.
Road crews are carrying out cleaning works with chemical salt and sand.
All interstate and republican roads in the territory of Armenia are open, the source added.
