Armenian swimmers finish 2017 with fresh records
The International Vladimir Salnikov Cup Swimming Competition was recently held in Saint Petersburg, Russia, with three swimmers representing Armenia in the tournament.
HSwimmers Artur Barseghyan, Levon Khachatryan and Levon Vardanyan showed strong performances to set fresh records both for Armenia and for themselves, the National Olympic Committee said.
In the 50 meter butterfly event, Artur Barseghyan set a new record for Armenia with a 0.25.19 result, setting another one for himself in the 100 meter freestyle event.
Levon Khachatryan improved his personal results in the 50 and 100 meter breaststroke, while Levon Vardanyan set a new personal record in the 50 meter breaststroke.
