Soap production on the rise in Armenia
Soap production volumes grew by 89.3% in Armenia in January-November 2017 to stand at 325.8 tons, the statistics show.
According to the figures released by the National Statistical Service (NSS) of Armenia, some 172.1 tons of soap were produced in the country in January-November 2016.
The production of washing, cleansing and starching agents almost doubled last year. Namely, a total of 3639.2 tons of detergents, washing and starching agents were produced in eleven months of 2017 against the 1754.6 tons produced in the same period of 2016.
