Artsakh soldier shot dead by Azerbaijani fire
On January 7, at around 13:20, Artsakh defense army soldier Vache N. Chilingaryan (born 1998) was fatally wounded as a result of the Azerbaijani fire in one of the military posts of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) in northeastern direction.
An investigation has been launched into the incident, the press service of the defense ministry reports.
“The NKR Ministry of Defense shares the grief of the loss and extends condolences to the family members, relatives and co-servicemen of the deceased soldier,” the ministry says in a released statement.
