US State Department includes Azerbaijan in list of countries with risk of terrorism
The US Department of State has included Azerbaijan in the list of countries with increased security threat after launching improvements, which will provide U.S. citizens with clear, timely, and reliable safety and security information worldwide.
According to the report by the State Department's official website, under the new system, every country will have a Travel Advisory, providing levels of advice ranging from 1 to 4: Level 1 - Exercise Normal Precautions, Level 2 - Exercise Increased Caution, Level 3 - Reconsider Travel, Level 4 - Do Not Travel.
Armenia is included in the first category. Azerbaijan has been included in the list of countries where the US citizens are recommended to exercise increased caution due to the increased risk of terrorism.
