Yerevan Opera Theatre to launch 2018 season on Feb 4 with “Anoush” opera
Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan will kick off the 2018 season in February also continuing the jubilee celebrations set for the 85th jubilee session.
The theatre will launch this year’s season with “Anoush” opera by Armen Tigranian on 4 February, the Ministry of Culture reported.
“Tosca”, an opera in 3 acts by Puccini is scheduled on 10 February. Yerevan Opera Theatre is set to host the performance of A. Khachaturian's “Gayane” ballet on 18 February.
The Armenian people are invited to enjoy “Carmen” opera by G. Bizet on 22 February in participation of leading Armenian opera artists.
On 24 February, “Giselle” ballet by A. Adan will be performed in the theatre.
G.Verdi's "Aida" opera will conclude the February repertoire of the Yerevan Opera Theatre.
