PM Karapetyan offers condolences to Iranian counterpart over deadly tanker fire
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan sent a condolence message to Es’haq Jahangiri, First Vice President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in connection with the fire and sinking of Iranian Sanchin oil tanker off the eastern coast of China, which claimed the lives of dozens of crew members, the government’s press service reported.
“I was deeply grieved to learn about dozens of casualties caused by the fire that broke out on the Iranian oil tanker.
On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I express deepest condolences to you and ask you to convey words of sympathy and comfort to victims’ families and friends.
Please accept the assurances of my highest respect,” the message reads.
