Air temperature to reach +18 °C in Armenia's Syunik in next few days
Precipitation is expected at times in some regions of Armenia on January 19, at night of 20, with wind intensification up to 15-20 m/s possible in separate places, “Hydromet” Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported.
In the daytime of January 20, on January 21-23, no precipitation is predicted in the country. Southern wind speed is 3-8 m/s.
On January 19-20, the air temperature will rise by 5-7 degrees, growing by 11-13 degrees in Lori, Tavush, Syunik and Artsakh.
As Panorama.am learnt from the MES official website, air temperature will reach +18 °C in Syunik province in the daytime over the next few days, with up to +16 °C expected in Artsakh, +11-+12 °C in Ararat and Kotayk and +7 °C in Shirak and Gegharkunik provinces.
In capital Yerevan, precipitation is predicted at times on January 19, at night of January 20, taking the form of wet snow at night hours. In the daytime of January 20, on January 21-23 no precipitation is expected in the capital. +9-+11 °C is expected in Yerevan in the afternoon on Friday.
