Armenian athlete Levon Aghasyan wins Kazakhstan int’l tournament
The international athletics competition for the prizes of Olympic champion Olga Rypakova was held in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan, with an Armenian athlete winning the champion’s title.
Levon Aghasyan won the Men Triple Jump with 16.39m result, the National Olympic Committee reported citing Narine Shahbazyan, Secretary General of the Armenian Athletics Federation.
The Armenian athlete wins the champion’s title for the third year in a row.
Other athletes representing Armenia in the tournament were runners Gayane Chiloyan and Lilit Harutyunyan. Chiloyan took the 5th spot in the 60 metres, while Harutyunyan came the 7th in the 400m race.
