President Sargsyan starts working visit to France
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan arrived in Paris, France on a working visit. The president’s quite eventful visit to Paris and Strasbourg will last from 22 to 24 January.
As the correspondent of Panorama.am reported from Paris, the working visit of the Armenian leader will begin with a meeting with Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo in Paris City Hall, followed by a reception in participation of the Armenian community representatives.
The meeting between French President Emmanuel Macron and President Serzh Sargsyan is scheduled for tomorrow, January 23. The Armenian president will also hold meetings with President of the French Senate Gérard Larcher and President of the National Assembly François de Rugy.
On 24 January, Serzh Sargsyan will deliver a speech at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in Strasbourg, where he will meet with the CoE leadership.
To note, this is President Sargsyan’s 10th working and official visit to France since 2008. The Armenian president’s previous visit to France was in March 2017 upon the invitation of President François Hollande.
