Slovak lawmaker praises President Sargsyan’s speech at PACE January session
Ľuboš Blaha, the head of the Slovak delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), praised Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s speech from the floor of the Assembly as ‘calm and reasonable’.
“President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan responded calmly and reasonably to the questions of the Turkish and Azerbaijan MPs at the PACE,” he said on Facebook.
The lawmaker expressed his respect to Armenia on behalf of the Parliament of the Slovak Republic.
“Armenians are courageous people, who have endured great sufferings. Armenia is an exemplary country that closely cooperates with Russia since it is a EAEU member, but at the same time it closely cooperates with the EU, with which it signed the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) two months ago,” the MP noted.
