Clear ice reported on certain highways in Armenia
Clear ice is observed on number of roadways in the territory of Armenia as of 14:00, February 1, the ministry of transport, communications and ITs reported, adding Vardenyats pass is closed due to blizzard and low visibility. According to the source black ice is observed on certain sections of Spitak, Gavar, Goirs-Sisian roadways.
Cleaning works with chemical salt and sand are carried out on the mentioned roads. All interstate and republican highways of Armenia are passable, the ministry detailed.
