Meetings reached, cooperation directions outlined at Davos visit – Karapetyan
A series of meetings with top officials from different countries, international financial institutions and major companies were held in Davos on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan said at today’s Cabinet meeting.
Mr Karapetyan highlighted agreements were reached and the directions of cooperation were outlined based on the meeting results.
He tasked the chief of the Government Staff, as well as the executive directors of the Center for Strategic Initiatives (CSI) and the Development Foundation of Armenia (DFA) to submit a report and general information on the Davos visit outcome to the interested agencies within seven days.
The ministers of foreign affairs, economic development and investments, energy infrastructure and natural resources, agriculture, transport, communication and information technologies, as well as the DFA and CSI executive directors were instructed to undertake necessary measures to implement the Davos agreements within specific timeframes and to develop the cooperation directions, as well as to elaborate and submit economic projects based on those directions.
The prime minister also tasked the officials to submit regular reports on their activities to the Government Staff.
