Roads mostly passable in Armenia
Roadways are mostly passable in the territory of Armenia as of 8 a.m. February 3, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
No precipitation is expected in the country from 3 to 7 February.
According to the source, Sotk-Karvachar highway is difficult to pass. Black ice is observed on some sections of Vardenyats Pass.
The ministry urges all drivers to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
According to the information received from the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the general department of the Republic of North Ossetia of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
