Two Armenians injured in terrorist shelling in Damascus
Terrorist groups on Monday shelled the old quarter of the Syrian capital Damascus violating the reached agreement to reduce tensions in Ghouta area.
Citing the local police, Kantsasar weekly reported that the rockets hit the Bab Touma district, with one of them striking a house belonging to an Armenian family.
The newspaper detailed the host of the house, Nuritsa Demirchyan-Otchyan suffering from long-term health problems, as well as her brother Sargis Demirchyan and a local caregiver woman were at home at during the shelling.
The woman died on the spot. The wounded sister and brother were hospitalized thanks to the efforts of the Armenian community representatives.
