Armen Sarkissian, the candidate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) for Armenia’s next president, has held a series of meetings with the lawmakers of the French National Assembly in Paris, France, his office told Panorama.am.

The meeting with French MP Olivier Dassault reflected on the progressive development of the Armenian-French relations, with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s January visit to France highlighted in this context.

Mr Dassault recalled with warmth his visit to Armenia last year at the invitation of Armen Sarkissian and his meeting with the Armenian president.

Olivier Dassault comes from one of the most influential families in France. His father, Serge, is the son of Marcel Dassault, from whom he inherited the Dassault Group.
