
Artsakh soldier shot dead by Azerbaijani fire
On February 7, at around 13:50, Artsakh Defense Army soldier Hayk R. Qalantaryan (born 1998) was fatally wounded as a result of Azerbaijani fire in one of the military posts in southern direction of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh)
An investigation has been launched into the incident, the press service of the defense ministry reports.
"The NKR Ministry of Defense shares the grief of the loss and extends condolences to the family members, relatives and co-servicemen of the deceased soldier," the ministry said in a released statement.
