Flight from Gyumri to Moscow forced to make emergency landing due to an abusive passenger
The flight DP855 by the Russian low-budget air carrier Pobeda travelling from Gyumri to Moscow diverted to Mineralnye Vody airport and made a safe emergency landing late on Wednesday, Ria Novosti news agency reported, adding the landing was caused by the inadequate behavior of one of the passengers, allegedly in a state of strong alcohol intoxication.
During the flight, the unidentified passenger refused to obey the lawful requirements of the flight attendants, insulted the crew members and other citizens, and even lit in the cabin of the aircraft, the source said.
TASS agency reported that once the passenger was taken off the board, the flight continued its journey to Moscow.
Pobeda announced their readiness to file a lawsuit against a man against a man, the purpose of recovering expenses for emergency landing and disruption of the planned flight.
