Presidential candidate Armen Sarkissian says ready to meet with President Sargsyan
Armen Sarkissian, the candidate of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) for Armenia’s fourth president, said he is already prepared for the meeting with President Serzh Sargsyan.
“I will meet with the Armenian President in the near future. I am already ready for that meeting,” he said speaking to Shant News.
According to Mr Sarkissian, currently he has a clear understanding of not only his powers enshrined in the Constitution, but also of the circle of problems and their possible solutions which every Armenian is concerned about.
Following his first meeting with President Sargsyan, Armen Sarkissian held a series of meetings in the Diaspora, Armenia and Artsakh. Today he held discussions with the Tsarukyan alliance MPs.
A meeting of Mr Sarkissian and the Board of Armenia's opposition Heritage Party is scheduled for Tuesday, the party’s press office said.
