Armenian, Russian officials discuss cooperation between parliamentary staffs
Chief of Staff-Secretary General of the Armenian National Assembly Ara Saghatelyan on Thursday met with Chief of Staff-Secretary General of the Russian State Duma Tatyana Voronova as part of a working visit to Moscow, the parliament’s press office said.
Head of the Public Relations and Media Department of the Armenian National Assembly Arsen Babayan, Head of the Protocol Department Artak Hovhannisyan, Head of the Foreign Relations Department Victor Biyagov, as well as heads of the Russian parliamentary staff subdivisions also attended the meeting.
The working meeting addressed issues related to the exchange of experience between the structural units of the parliamentary staffs, as well as cooperation-related issues.
The Armenia and Russian officials also reflected on the capacity-building programs of the staffs, in particular the need to improve their expertise and analytical skills.
The sides expressed their willingness to cooperate and provide mutual assistance in different formats in the near future.
