Converse Bank has launched USSD service
Converse Bank has launched today USSD service that enables the Bank's customers to make use of some banking services quickly, without visiting or calling the Bank. Internet access is not required either, The Bank reported in a release.
"USSD service is easy and customers do not need additional abilities for using it. It enables Converse Bank cardholders to obtain timely information on the balance of the card, get a statement for the latest 4 to 5 transactions made with the card, and block the card at any time of the day. To make use of the service, you simply need to send the command *116# from your mobile phone and follow the instructions," the release said.
Maximum 5 cards of ARCA system member banks with activated USSD service can be attached to one phone number. No additional fee will be charged from the cardholder for this service by the mobile operator.
"Currently, this service of Converse Bank is available for subscribers of Beeline and VivaCell MTS mobile operators acting in Armenia. Measures are being taken to introduce such service for customers of other operators as well," added the Bank.
