Armenian composer, RA Distinguished Art Worker Eduard Sadoyan passed away
Acclaimed Armenian composer Eduard Sadoyan died today, aged at 79, the ministry of culture reported.
To note, Sadoyan is an Armenian composer of stage, orchestral, chamber, choral, vocal, and piano whose works have been performed in Asia, Europe and the USA.
Sadoyan studied composition with Alexander Arutiunian at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan, where he graduated in 1976, and also studied composition with Aram Khachaturian at the P. I. Tchaikovsky State Conservatory in Moscow from 1968-71. His music has been performed in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Norway, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, and the USA.
