OSCE conducts regular monitoring on Armenia-Azerbaijan border
The Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on Wednesday conducted a regular monitoring at the northeastern section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, in Armenia’s Tavush Province.
From the Armenian side the monitoring was conducted by Field Assistants to the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office (CiO) Ghenadie Petrica (Moldova) and Ognjen Jovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
No ceasefire violations were recorded during the monitoring, the Armenian Defense Ministry told Panorama.am.
Due to the rough terrain, a video surveillance was not possible, and the monitoring was conducted through the exchange of information in accordance with orientation directions.
On the sidelines of the monitoring a briefing was held, during which the OSCE officials were introduced on the current situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border and the statistics of ceasefire violations by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
