Prime Minister Karapetyan introduced on Digital Armenia Foundation’s activities
Armenian Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Friday visited the Digital Armenia Foundation office where he was introduced on the final version of the “Armenia Digital Transformation Agenda 2030” framework document, the government’s press office informed Panorama.am.
Foundation Director Eduard Nersisyan noted on the sidelines of the first stage called “digital jump”, programs aimed at large-scale infrastructure development and formation of a common digital platform in all the spheres of governance are expected to be implemented.
He detailed on the formation of a mutual partnership platform for public administration systems, establishment of single centres providing digital services, the digital statistics and other programs on different directions, which are expected to lead to reduction of administrative costs, increase the transparency of the offered services and save time, etc.
PM Karapetyan, in turn, highlighted the Foundation’s active work, stressing that in parallel to the long-term projects, initiatives with quick and visible results are also necessary, which will promote the digitization process in Armenia.
