Community leaders visit Armenian nursing house in Aleppo
Armenian community leaders visited an Armenian home for the elderly in Aleppo, local Kantsasar Weekly reported, adding the visit came to assess the amount of damage caused by the conflict and outline future plans for renovation works.
To remind, the nursing house had been a constant target by terrorist groups over the course of the war in Aleppo, suffering significant damages on numerous occasions. Three years ago, the elderly had to leave their place and took shelter at Kulpenkian hospital after the terrorist groups invaded Aleppo. Later they were moved to Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church. After Aleppo liberation, the elderly were returned to their place of residence after the opening of the renovated nursing home.
