Turkish mosques come under attack in Germany
Ankara expects Berlin to catch the perpetrators of recent attacks on Turkish mosques in Germany, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said on March 11.
Two Turkish mosques, one in Berlin and another in the town of Lauffen am Neckar, have been attacked in recent days, Hurriyet Daily News reports.
The attack in Lauffen am Neckar carried out with molotov cocktails on March 9 was claimed by a Kurdistan Workers’ Party-linked (PKK) group, while the identities of those responsible for the Berlin attack remain unknown.
The ministry urged German authorities to bring the perpetrators to justice and take necessary measures to prevent new attacks.
