Japan's Abe congratulates President-elect Armen Sargsyan
Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe offered his congratulations to Armenia's President-elect Armen Sargsyan on being elected as Armenia's fourth president, Panorama.am was informed from the press service of the President-elect.
"Armenia plays an important role for peace and stability in the region of the South Caucasus and the persistent development of Your country is of vital significance. Armenia is a reliable partner to Japan and committed to fundamental rights, such as freedom, democracy human rights, and the rule of law. I am happy that our countries are closely cooperating both bilaterally as well as in the international arena," the congratulator message reads, in part.
The newly elected President of Armenia also received congratulations from President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.
