Roads in Armenia mostly open for traffic
Roadways are mostly passable in the territory of Armenia as of 10 a.m. March 14, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
Scattered showers with thunderstorm are expected in most regions from 15 to 17 March, with no precipitation forecast for 14 March.
According to the source, Sotk-Karvachar highway is partly coated with black ice.
The ministry urges all drivers to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Department of the Republic of North Ossetia of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
