Sharmazanov urges CSTO PA to condemn Azerbaijani policy
"The latest military exercises by Azerbaijani armed forces go against its international commitments, while non-constructive statements and actions by the country's leadership are inexcusable," Deputy Speaker of Armenian parliament Eduard Sharmazanov stated today at a meeting with CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretary-in-charge Pyotr Ryabukhin.
As the parliament press service reported, during the meeting the sides highlighted the strengthening of cooperation of the parliaments of the CSTO PA member countries, also touched upon the conflicts existing in the zone of CSTO responsibility. The RA NA Deputy Speaker highlighted the exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflicts.
During the meeting the sides agreed on the inadmissibility of the bellicose rhetoric.
To note, Sharmazanov as Head of CSTO PA Observation Mission is on a working visit to Saint Petersburg to observe Russia's Presidential elections.
