CSTO PA monitoring mission held a meeting chaired by Eduard Sharmazanov
Deputy Speaker of Armenian Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov chaired today the working sitting of the monitoring group from the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly set to monitor the Russian presidential elections tomorrow.
As the parliament press service reported, the session was attended by lawmakers from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Belarus. The mission members stressed the democratic electoral processes in the CSTO member states, while Sharmazanov pointed to the imperative of active and unbiased monitoring of the elections by the mission.
The Permanent Representative of the RA National Assembly to the IPA CIS Hayk Chilingaryan and MP Tachat Vardapetyan also took part in the meeting.
