Armenia sees rise in meat production
Armenia saw an increase of 9.1% in meat production in January 2018 from the same period last year, according to the latest statistics.
Compared to the 1,408 tons produced in January 2017, a total of 1,535.6 tons of meat were produced in the first month of this year, Panorama.am was informed from the National Statistic Service of Armenia (NSS).
According the NSS, production levels of semi-finished meat products also increased by 10.7% in the indicated period, amounting to 39.4 tones.
Meanwhile, the level of other meat products, sausage production among them, cut down by 2.4% to stand at 421.6 tons.
