Brussels Airlines resumes regular flights to Yerevan
Brussels Airlines will be reinstating direct flights between Brussels and Yerevan effective 2 June 2018, after the carrier obtained the flight operating license by Armenian aviation authorities.
As the Armenia's General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) reported in a press statement, flights will be carried out once a week from June 2 to July 2 and August 29 to October 27 and twice a week from July 3 to August 28 on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
To remind, the issue of the direct regular flights between Brussels and Yerevan was addressed this February in Yerevan during a meeting of the air carrier's Vice President Herman Carpentier with Sergey Avetisyan, Director of Armenia's General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA).
The head of the Belgian carrier had noted that the positive developments recorded in the Armenian aviation market in recent years, as well as the upward trends in the passenger traffic can leave a positive impact to ensure the profitability of flights linking Armenia to Central Europe.
