Armenia’s foreign minister hosts French parliamentarians
Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Monday received French Senator Christophe-André Frassa, Head of the Political Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie (APF), and French MP Jacques Myard.
Welcoming the guests, FM Nalbandian attached importance to the meetings organized regularly in Armenia by the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, highlighting it proves Armenia’s profound involvement in La Francophonie, the ministry's press service told Panorama.am.
Thanking for the reception, Mr Christophe-André Frassa highly appreciated Armenia’s valuable contribution to the promotion of La Francophonie’s principles and values. He briefed Nalbandian on the issues set to be discussed at the Yerevan session of the APF Political Committee.
During the meeting, the officials had an extensive exchange of views over the issues of preparations for the Summit of La Francophonie and the sessions of OIF statutory bodies to be held in Yerevan this year, as well as the related events.
Minister Nalbandian and the French parliamentarians touched upon the Armenian-French privileged relations, as well as the active cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.
