Talish to live forever: Reconstruction underway in the war-damaged Artsakh village
The second stage of construction of residential houses will launch in Talish village of the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic in the nearest future, the head of Talish community Vilen Petrosyan told Panorama.am
According to the plan, 25 residential houses will be reconstructed, while another 9 will be built from the ground up. "Every effort is exerted to renovate the buildings that were severely damaged during the Four-Day war in 2016," Petrosyan said.
He next reminded the reconstruction works of the village school and kindergarten are nearing completion with the both buildings having shelters.
Earlier, Artsakh Minister of Urban Development Karen Shahramanyan announced that the construction of the local school and kindergarten is set to be completed until September 1, 2018 with all amenities and playgrounds
Vilen Petrosyan added, 17 residential houses have been inaugurated thus far, and the construction works of the village council and ceremonies hall are over and waiting for ceremonial opening.
"A family has moved to the village to live permanently, others are expected to return at the end of reconstructions works. Talish is being renovated, it will live forever," Petrosyan concluded.
