New details emerge on Armenian bus crash in Russia
The two people killed in a crash involving a passenger bus en route from Yerevan to Moscow and a truck are the drivers of the two vehicles, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
The ministry details that the accident took place at around 9 a.m. on Tuesday. A Mercedes bus collided with a truck on the 673rd kilometer of M4 Don interstate highway in Voronezh city in southwestern Russia.
The drivers of the bus and truck were killed, while 8 others suffered injuries. Some 40 passengers were offered accommodation in the nearest hotel.
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Transport, Communication and ITs, the bus belonged to MAN TOUR company serving the Yerevan-Tver route.
The possible causes of the accident and other details are being clarified.
