Armenian manufacturers plan to export milk, honey, dried and fresh fruit to the United States
Armenian manufacturers are interested in discovering new markets and plan to export to the United States meat, honey, milk products, fresh and dried fruit as well as beverages.
The head of Armenia's State Service for Food Safety Ishkhan Karapetyan who is on a working trip to the United States, has discussed sanitary and hygiene measures, the mport and export procedures to at the second session of the Armenian-American Council on Trade and Investments.
In the scope of the meetings the parties discussed accompanying veterinary and sanitary documents envisaged by the export procedure to comply with EAEU and EU regulations. arrangements were made on the information exchange procedures.
Ishkhan Karapetyan briefed on the spheres under Food Safety Service monitoring, the ongoing activities aimed at improvement of safety and quality of the food of both animal and vegetarian source to foster the competitiveness of Armenian food products.
