Armenia among top 10 states with frequency of Russia visits
Armenia has been included in the list of top 10 states released by a travel agency revealing the frequency of visits from different countries to Russia.
A total of 584,000 Armenians travelled to Russia in 2017, down by 2 percent from the previous year, according to a study conducted by TourStat agency.
Armenia is ranked seventh, nestled between Poland and Germany in the rating. Ukraine tops the travel list with 8.7 million visits, followed by Kazakhstan (3.5 million) and China (1.5 million).
Overall, 24.4 million foreigners visited Russia in 2017, with 24.5 million visits recorded in 2016.
