Armenian jazz queen Datevik Hovanesian to perform two concerts in Yerevan
World-famous Armenian jazz singer Datevik Hovanesian will give two concerts in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, in May, Panorama.am was informed from Tomsarkgh.am.
Initially, the singer was set to hold only one concert at Aram Khachaturyan Concert Hall in Yerevan on May 27, but given the fact that all the tickets of the concert are almost sold out and there is a high public demand she has agreed to perform a second concert on May 30.
The price of tickets ranges from 5000 to 20,000 AMD. The jazz musician will perform with her band – Bob Albanese on piano, Joe Fitzgerald on bass, and David Meade on drums.
Prior to her Yerevan concerts, Datevik Hovanesian will perform in Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri on May 25.
After the three concerts in Armenia, the singer plans to hold concert tours to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Datevik Hovanesian performed in Armenia for the last time in 2014, giving concerts in Yerevan, Gyumri and Artsakh.
