Latvian parliament unanimously votes for Armenia-EU agreement in the first reading
The Latvian parliament has unanimously voted in favour of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in the first reading, Armenian Ambassador to Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia Tigran Mkrtchyan said on Twitter.
“Good news from Latvia. Saeima without any opposition conceptually supported the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, CEPA after the 1st reading. Hope soon the 2nd reading will occur and the agreement will be ratified,” he twitted.
