Roads in Armenia passable
Roadways are mostly passable in the territory of Armenia as of 9 a.m. on Saturday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations told Panorama.am.
Scattered showers with thunderstorm are forecast for most regions at late evening of March 24, on March 25 and in the evening of 28, while no precipitation is expected at night of March 24, on 26-27 March and at night of 28.
According to the source, Sotk-Karvachar highway is partly coated with black ice.
The ministry urges all drivers to use exclusively winter tires when driving in the regions.
According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Department of the Republic of North Ossetia of Russia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
